Hello, welcome to Astro Guide.
In this post, I am going to discuss something very important.
During Rahu Mahadasha, most people try to follow shortcut methods to earn money. And the most popular among them is trading. It can be stock trading, intraday, currency trading, crypto trading, or options trading.
Let me tell you clearly — during Rahu Mahadasha, the mind is not in control. There are too many fluctuations. If you enter these areas, you may face major losses. So it is better to avoid these things and move towards long-term investments.
I am saying this from my personal experience. It's not that I have suffered huge losses, but I have understood that it is mostly a waste of time. You may think you are different, that you can succeed where others fail, but that is a misconception.
You might believe that only 5% of people make a profit and you are one of them — but that is not true. Even if you earn something, you will eventually lose it in trading at some point.
So never think about trading, especially during Rahu Mahadasha. Because in trading, a calm mind is extremely important — and during Rahu Mahadasha, the mind is rarely calm.
What Should You Do Instead?
Now the question arises — what should you do? How should you plan your finances?
First, understand this: Rahu Mahadasha is not completely bad. It only feels like everything is going wrong because we tend to focus only on the negative areas of life.
Every person has some area that is not working — it can be relationships, finances, or health. And because we focus only on those problems, it feels like everything is bad.
But that is not true.
During Rahu Mahadasha, there are also favorable Antardashas (sub-periods) of good planets. These phases support you.
So what should you do?
During good periods, you must save money so that you can manage during difficult periods.
Best Investment Strategy
The first step — stop trading.
The best investment is something that is difficult to sell easily and can be held for the long term.
The best option is physical gold or physical silver. When you buy physical assets, you don't sell them easily. That psychology helps you hold for the long term.
If you buy Gold or Silver ETFs, you can easily sell them when the market opens — and that becomes a problem.
Yes, physical gold and silver have making charges and taxes, but still, they are better for long-term holding.
If you still don't prefer physical assets, then you can go for Gold ETFs. Currently, silver is more volatile, so it is better to focus only on gold.
Mutual Funds and Market Risk
You can invest in mutual funds, but I am not strongly recommending them right now.
Global markets are uncertain, especially due to unpredictable political decisions. Because of that, markets can behave unpredictably.
If you want to invest in mutual funds, choose those that do not directly invest heavily in equities. Avoid high-risk equity exposure for now.
Fixed Income and Stability
Another good option is Liquid ETFs. They work somewhat like fixed deposits, giving returns similar to interest, and you can liquidate them when the market is open.
But still, I suggest a more stable approach — Fixed Deposits (FD).
Invest your money in FD and opt for monthly interest withdrawal. That interest becomes your regular income, and you can manage your expenses from it.
During difficult periods or bad Antardashas, you can use your savings gradually. This approach provides financial stability.
Importance of Health Insurance
Along with financial planning, health insurance is very important.
Especially if a difficult Antardasha is about to start or if you have planets in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house, you must take health insurance in advance.
For example, before my Ketu Antardasha started, I took a health insurance policy of 5 lakh. Even though the planetary position looked fine, we can never predict exact results.
So it is better to stay protected.
Health insurance is extremely important, and everyone should have it.
Other Investment Options
You can also consider land as an investment, but it requires a large amount of money and is difficult to sell quickly during emergencies.
That's why I do not strongly recommend land.
Better options include:
- Gold and Silver
- Fixed Deposits
- Liquid ETFs
- Metal ETFs
Mutual funds can also be considered, but with caution.
Before Investing
Wherever you invest, do proper research.
Never invest blindly, especially during Rahu Mahadasha.
Understand the basics of investing. If you are investing in stocks, learn how to read balance sheets, profit and loss statements, margins, and company growth.
Check whether the company's sales and profit are growing and whether the sector itself has future potential.
Only after proper understanding should you invest directly in stocks.
Final Advice
Lastly, do not run behind remedies all the time.
Remedies have their place, but they are not a solution for everything. They may help in small issues like relationships or minor obstacles.
But during Rahu Mahadasha, a lot of karma unfolds. You cannot fix everything through remedies.
The real solution is to change your mindset.
Accept that the time is challenging and focus on managing it wisely. That is how you can handle Rahu Mahadasha effectively.
Thank you.
